Common Meal Guidelines
Saturday cooking teams need at least one person (head cook) to coordinate the various tasks:
- Emailing the menu to the community as soon as possible with a sign up deadline
- Filling out the date and menu on the sign up sheet in the notebook
- Buying of ingredients
- Preparing the food
- Setting up the tables
Everyone but the cooking team is part of the clean up.
The assignment dates were arbitrarily set; it is each person’s responsibility to find someone to switch with – as soon as possible – if the date doesn’t work – ask before you switch. Please indicate the switch on the big calendar (posted on the refrigerator near triple sinks) as soon as possible.
All common meals start at 6:00 pm
Adults are charged $6; children 6 to 11 charged $3;
ages 5 & under nothing
The main cooks aren’t charged and are reimbursed for the cost of the ingredients.
